About Our Polls

We have several different types of polls on this site. Some of them we conduct ourselves while others are completed by outside firms. Not all of our polls are scientific. What this means is that scientific polls are an accurate pulse of the people while non-scientific polls gauge the pulse of the people who visit this site. Both types of polls are useful and we encourage you to check out all the different types of polls.

These are polls conducted vluntraily through the web site.

Our Scientific Polls
These are polls which we conduct using a pre-defined cross-section of participants covering a defined demographic group. The purpose is to get a true reading of the feeling within a certain peer group. We will use this type of poll in order to predict election standings as well as gauge regional and national opinion on certain topics.

Third Party Internet Polls
These are polls conducted on other web sites. We try hard to link this site into those polls so that you can participate in them from right here. If you know of a third party poll that we should include here, let us know about it. We will see what we can do.

Third Party Scientific Polls
These are polls conducted by outside groups. The methodology for each poll will be shown along with the latest results from the poll. Since these are scientific polls, they do not allow for voluntary participation.
